This is a subtle yoga style that helps calm the nervous system, improve breathing capacity and increases the mind-body connection. The functional poses relieve stress, improve mobility in joints, help with balance and coordination, and build strength. The class begins sitting in a chair and comes to standing, using the chair for support and safety. This class is accessible for all unique bodies, abilities and ages.
All classes are held virtually via Zoom. Classes are taught by Cathy Schaffer, a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200 hours), and Certified Chair Yoga Instructor.
